JDRF Golf Outing

JDRF Golf Outing

Over 15,000 children every year are affected with this disease which is very difficult to manage. Their daily lives become one that is filled with testing, shots, and doctor appointments - along with school, friends, and sports. The cure for this disease is unknown but we are not without hope.

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the worldwide leader in funding research to cure Type 1 diabetes. Since 1970, the foundation has raised over 1.4 billion dollars, all of which has been donated to research institutions. The JDRF is active in fundraising year-round with its famous walks, luncheons, and black tie events. Here at Douglas J, we are proud to announce that our Annual Golf Outing benefiting the JDRF will be entering its 16th year!

Looking back on our past experiences, we could not have succeeded without the help of members in our community. We’d like to invite you to join us once again to help raise money to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes on July 31st, 2017. There is the opportunity to sponsor a hole, join a team, donate an item for the silent auction, or donate many smaller items for our goody bags that we give to everyone as a token of appreciation for participating. At Douglas J, we love to give to the JDRF and have a great time in doing so. Come join the fun!

If you have any questions or would like to donate items for the silent auction, please contact jdrfgolf@douglasj.edu. We greatly appreciate any donations you are able to give.

Thank you for your time and we hope to see you on the 18th!
