At the Douglas J eXchange Arty Party
The Fun Takes
Place Monday Night
Ann Arbor-----Local
artists, great food, music and pampering are the ingredients for the fun Arty
Party that the public is invited to attend at the Douglas J eXchange on Monday,
September 17, from 6 to 8 p.m., Scott Weaver, President and Co-Owner of Douglas
J, announced today. The eXchange
is located at 500 East Liberty, around the corner from the Douglas J Aveda
Institute, in Ann Arbor.
“Everyone loves a good party and there is definitely going
to be one Monday night. We’re
going to have a great time at the eXchange and we want others to join us for
this fun event,” Weaver said.
Local artists Rachel Distelzweig, Tarek Kanaan, Lainie Kokas
and Noel Butzlaff will be there to display their artwork. The Steve Fentriss Trio also will be on
hand to entertain as everyone enjoys hors d’oeuvres, drinks and complimentary chair,
hand and arm massages. In
addition, there will be a 10 percent discount on all the wonderful Aveda
products sold at the Douglas J eXchange.
The eXchange, which is an intimate salon, offers a menu of
services in hair, color, skin care and massage therapy. “At the eXchange we specialize in
creating an environment where the stresses of the outside world can be left
behind and in providing a unique experience for our guests,” Weaver said. “That will be especially true Monday
night at our Arty Party.”
