WILL ENCHANT GUESTS ON NOVEMBER 27
OKEMOS-----All the special magic and fun of the
winter holiday season will be found at the Douglas
J Day Spa Salon’s annual Holiday Open House
on Monday, November 27. “When guests walk
through the door of the salon they will enter a
beautiful holiday world of pampering, unique gifts,
entertainment, and gourmet food. This is the kickoff
to the holiday season and we go all out to make
the open house a memorable experience for everyone,”
Andrea Liebaert, VP of Marketing for Douglas J,
said.
The Douglas
J Day Spa Salon is located at 4663 Ardmore in Okemos.
The Holiday Open House will begin at 9 a.m. and
end at 8 p.m. Throughout the day, complimentary
gift wrap will be available and there will be a
10 percent discount on all the wonderful Aveda products.
Anyone purchasing a gift certificate of $50 or more
will receive a free gift. “Our gift certificates
make great presents for anyone on a holiday shopping
list,” Liebaert said.
The celebration
part of the Holiday Open House gets underway at
4 p.m. and lasts until 8 p.m. Valet parking will
be available from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Inside guests
will find merry holiday music, a festive atmosphere
and gourmet hors d’oeuvres that are too delicious
to resist. Upstairs in the salon, the “Winter
Garden” room will be the scene of pampering
hand and arm massages, relaxing chair massages and
delightful “sensory journeys.” Liebaert
said there also will be promotions on Douglas J’s
personal blend products. “These are always
very popular because they give people the opportunity
to create their own signature scent,”she said.
The “Spa
Comforts” area will beckon guests to taste
different varieties of teas and flavored waters.
That’s also where they will be able to try,
on their hands, demonstrations of different salon
services. Each spa room also will feature a different
service. “This is the perfect day to learn
more about all the wonderful services and products
we have to offer,” Liebaert said.
Back
by popular demand, the Douglas J eXpress drive-thru
will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the Holiday
Open House. “This is a very convenient way
to purchase a gift certificate, a spa package or
products, and it makes holiday shopping less stressful,”
Weaver said.
Beginning
Saturday, December 2, the eXpress drive-thru will
be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m.
to 7 p.m. daily during the week.
On Saturday,
December 23, all Douglas J locations, including
the Douglas J eXchange and the Aveda Institute in
East Lansing and Ann Arbor, will be open until 10
p.m. The eXpress drive-thru at the Douglas J Day
Spa Salon in Okemos will be open from 9 a.m. to
7 p.m. On Sunday, December 24, the Douglas J Day
Spa Salon in Okemos will be open inside from 9 a.m.
to noon, but the eXpress drive-thru will not be
open.
