Douglas J Suites is a private floor exclusively for Douglas J students. It is located inside the new Loose Leaf Lofts Complex located at 333 Commerce Avenue, two blocks and well within walking distance of the Douglas J Aveda Institute in Grand Rapids.

Douglas J Suites features a private, secure entrance, 13 suites, [8 double and 5 single rooms], two common lounge areas with plasma televisions, a full kitchen, a large community bathroom and one private bathroom, and laundry facilities on the floor.

Other amenities are a fully furnished unit including a mattress, wireless internet, and cable. The Douglas J Suites floor features a styling station, and a private patio complete with a garden and barbecue grill.
